Though they're empty and abandoned, these old houses must still be full of life in the memories of the people who once lived in them. But before too long those people will be gone, and the memories will be gone too. Then the houses will stand alone until they fall of their own weight or are demolished in the name of progress. Nothing will remain of them or the lives they sheltered.
