The famous Sunset Strip on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles was once a playground for the stars but today seems to be mostly a playground for gigantic billboards. Some very fancy houses (two of which are shown here) cling to the hilltop above, looking down imperiously on the commercial clutter below. The stars have apparently all fled to Beverly Hills and Malibu. There are still some very elegant hotels, however.
